Michael Hinshaw

Co-author of the best-selling book Smart Customers, Stupid Companies: Why Only Intelligent Companies Will Thrive, and How to Be One of Them, he helps organizations harness the transformative power of evolving customer expectations through experience management and innovation. As an entrepreneur and executive, Michael founded, built, and successfully exited two experience-led companies. As a consultant to senior management, some of the organizations he has advised include Intel, Microsoft, Best Buy, Biogen, and Lululemon.

 

Recognized as an “experience industry pioneer” by Kennedy (the world’s leading source of consulting market analysis), Forrester, and others, he is on multiple “Experience Influencers to Follow” lists including Top Twenty Customer Experience Leaders to Follow, Top Customer Experience Influencers, and the CX Hall of Fame.

 

In addition to speaking on these subjects around the world, Michael has been published and quoted in dozens of publications ranging from Harvard Business Review and Fast Company to American Executive, Forbes, and Time. He is also a teaching fellow at UC Berkeley’s Lester Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Haas School of Business and has held board seats at publicly traded, private, and non-profit firms.

Diane Magers

Diane Magers is an internationally renowned speaker, passionate and recognized thought leader, and founder and CEO of Experience Catalysts, an experience management advisory, coaching and consulting firm.

​

She is a founding member and past CEO for the Customer Experience Professionals Association (CXPA). She holds the designation of CCXP (Certified Customer Experience Professional), an MBA, and an MS in psychology.

As a previous practitioner with over twenty-five years of building and growing differentiation by experience including Sysco Foods and AT&T Business Solutions, Diane’s passion is advising and coaching individuals, teams, and leaders to adopt and build the critical capabilities to define, design, and drive impact and measurable value for customers and their brands. She has influenced brands such VMWare, State Farm, and Invisalign.

 

Diane is a Professor of Practices for the MS-CXM (Customer Experience Management) degree program at Michigan State University and instructor of experience management at Southern Methodist University. She is recognized on multiple “Experience Influencers to Follow” lists including the recent “Women in Power” and recognitions including the CX Academy’s CX Fellowship Award, and the CXPA Extra Mile Award winner.
